Annual Gravel to Asphalt Conversion – Project Complete
Each year, Public Works selects gravel roads that are strong candidates for asphalt overlay based on factors like subgrade conditions, stormwater management, and maintenance needs. The goal is to upgrade these roads to asphalt, improving driving conditions, enhancing safety, and reducing long-term maintenance costs.
For this year’s project, 8th Avenue south of 12th Street was prioritized—and we’re pleased to share that the work is now complete.
