Macleod Landing Next Phase of Development

Significant Progress at Macleod Landing Signals Next Phase of Development

Exciting developments are underway at Fort Macleod’s Macleod Landing subdivision, as the project reaches a major milestone. The final lift of asphalt has been completed, and the majority of sidewalks are now installed, dramatically improving access and connectivity throughout the community.

Crews have been hard at work finishing key surface infrastructure, including road paving and pedestrian pathways. While a few wheelchair access points are still being finalized, most of the surface work is complete and ready for use.

A recent civil site inspection confirmed that all critical infrastructure has been built to meet municipal standards. With this milestone reached, the site is now cleared to move into the next phase of development.

Starting Monday, July 7, Primary Engineering will begin installing shallow utilities, a vital step in preparing lots for residential and commercial construction. Developers and builders planning to break ground this summer can begin construction as early as July 7, following coordination with the site contractor.

To ensure safety and maintain project timelines, site access must be pre-approved. Contractors and builders are asked to contact the Town of Fort Macleod to arrange access and coordinate activity on site:
