Macleod Landing Construction Update

Construction Progresses at Macleod Landing Subdivision as Project Nears Key Transition

Construction at the Macleod Landing development is progressing on schedule, with the current phase of roadwork and civil infrastructure set to wrap up by June 27. The final lift of asphalt, sidewalk installations, and final grading are actively underway and expected to be completed within the next week.

Following this milestone, the project will transition from civil construction to the installation of shallow utilities. A formal site handover is scheduled to take place shortly after June 27, with a pre-construction meeting involving Primary Engineering and their utility representatives set for July 2.

Primary Engineering, the contractor for the shallow utilities, is slated to begin on-site work starting July 7. This next phase will include excavation, trenching, and the exposure of utility conduits as part of the development’s critical underground infrastructure.

Key Milestones:

  • Now–June 27: Completion of roads, sidewalks, and final grading

  • June 26–July 2: Site walkdown and deficiency finalization, followed by site handover

  • July 2: On-site pre-construction meeting with Primary Engineering

  • July 7: Commencement of shallow utility construction

Project stakeholders are currently working to confirm a firm completion date for the shallow utilities phase.
