Fort Macleod Prepares for 2024 Municipal By-Election

The Town of Fort Macleod is having its 2024 Municipal By-Election, and we want YOU to join in and help choose our next town Councillor.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Election Day: Monday, May 6, 2024, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm MST at the GR Davis Administration Building gymnasium, 410-20th Street, Fort Macleod.
  • Bring ID: Make sure to bring your Driver's License or any other photo ID with you.
  • Nominations: If you're interested in running for Councillor, Nominations are now open and Nomination Day is on Monday, April 8, 2024. Nominations close at 12 noon MST. You can get all the forms you need at the Town Office or on our website.
  • Important Documents: The nomination package includes forms you need to fill out, like the Nomination Papers and Candidate‚Äôs Acceptance form. Plus, there are guides to help you understand what being a Councillor involves.

  • Nomination Day: Monday, April 8, 2024 - Nominations close at 12:00 pm (noon)
