Neoen Hosts Open House for Jumbo Solar Project near Fort Macleod

Neoen, the developer behind the Jumbo Solar with Storage Project, is inviting residents and stakeholders to a community open house scheduled for February 20, 2024, at the REO Hall in Fort MacLeod. The event will run from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will provide an informal platform for engagement and dialogue regarding the proposed solar initiative.

The Jumbo Solar with Storage Project, spearheaded by Neoen Renewables Canada Inc., commenced development in 2022. The proposed project spans approximately 1,500 acres of land approximately 1.6 km southwest of Fort Macleod within the Municipal District of Willow Creek No. 26.

Neoen emphasizes that the open house will feature subject matter experts available to address stakeholder inquiries and concerns. Acknowledging the unique nature of stakeholder interests, the event seeks to foster meaningful discussions tailored to individual needs. However, for those unable to attend or prefer a more personalized consultation, arrangements for private meetings can be made by contacting Neoen directly.
