Celebrate the season in Historic Downtown Fort Macleod at Moonlight Madness—an evening full of holiday cheer, shopping, and family fun! Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, hot chocolate, and a complimentary meal hosted by Town Council. Warm up by the fire pits with the Fort Macleod Fire Department, and take advantage of late-night shopping, local deals, and festive giveaways.

The best part of the night? Gather at the end of Main Street before 7:30 pm for the tree lighting and Christmas carols, a magical way to wrap up a night of community spirit and holiday joy.

Fort Macleod Santa Claus Parade – “A Home Alone Christmas”

Get ready for a festive adventure at this year’s Fort Macleod Santa Claus Parade, themed “A Home Alone Christmas”! With over 100 entries, 8 marching bands, and more than 10,000 people lining the streets, it’s one of the biggest holiday parades in Southern Alberta.
