June 6th join us for a pancake breakfast by donation at 8:30 am at the Pioneer Lodge in Fort Macleod. At 11am we have a talk with constable Grouette on senior fraud.

June 7th join us for a discussion on Dementia with Colleen from the Alzheimer's Society at 11:00 am. June 7th Join us for our Seniors Carnival and BBQ at 12:00pm by donation.

Youth Night is a dynamic and free program designed for teens aged 11 to 18. Hosted by us in collaboration with BGC Lethbridge, it provides a safe space for young individuals to develop social skills, make friends, and have fun. With engaging activities, refreshments, and a supportive environment, Youth Night offers a memorable experience where teenagers can learn, play, and grow together. Join us for an exciting and enriching evening that fosters connections and empowers the youth!

On June 9th and 10th, residents of Fort Macleod will be able to take 1-3 truck/trailer loads to the Willow Creek Landfill, call the Town Office to get your free voucher. Willow Creek Landfill is open 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on both days. 

A household hazardous waste product has at least one of the following properties:

Reactive/Explosive: Aerosols
Corrosive: Rust removers, alkaline cleaning fluids and old wet batteries
Flammable: Painting wastes (no empty tins), degreasers and other solvents
Toxic/Poison: Chemicals containers showing the toxic symbol

The Town is happy to announce the 4H Club will be hosting an e-waste clean-up. Small appliances, audio & visual equipment, telecom products, power, cordless & air tools, electronic toys, video game systems, televisions, computers & printers will be accepted free of charge.
This service is for household electronic waste only. No other materials, refrigerants, large appliances or liquids will be accepted. Please note, No batteries or light blubs or anything with Freon will be accepted.

Please Bring Water Journal + Writing tool Yoga mats, knee and neck support bolsters, and blankets will be provided so you can effortlessly arrive and enjoy the practice. The Summer Solstice, June 21st, is the longest day of the year and marks the beginning of summer. It is a time of abundance, growth, and expansion, and marks the culmination of the sun's energy and power. It is often seen as a time of renewal, transformation, and manifestation, as the long days and warm weather provide the perfect conditions for personal growth and spiritual exploration. Join us for a beautiful evening that celebrates the energy of the Summer Solstice! We will begin our journey with a guided plant medicine walk in the Wilderness Valley Park with local Herbalist Chelsie Wolff. She will take us along the picturesque river bottom, sharing her wisdom and connecting us with the healing power and medicinal properties of plants. After we will return to the King of Wands Wellness studio and will be welcomed with refreshments to nourish and replenish your body, including Chelsie's own hand blended Horizon Herbs tea. Then, we will embark on a Guided Conscious Connected Breathwork session with Chantelle Dalshaug. Breathwork can have both physical and spiritual benefits. Physically, it can increase oxygen levels in the body, promote relaxation, and help release tension and stress. Spiritually, it can lead to a deeper connection with oneself, facilitate emotional release, and promote a sense of inner peace and clarity. Individuals can tap into their body's natural healing abilities and experience a sense of renewed energy and vitality. Our workshop is a wonderful opportunity to gather with like-minded community, welcome the knowledge of the healing plants in our biome along the Old Man River, and harness the transformative energy of the Summer Solstice. Our day together has been created to spark imagination, cultivate well-being, and promote acts of compassion among young hearts. Through a perfect blend of fairy tales, magical adventures, and wellness practices, we will create a unique experience that full of mindful magic where these little beings can feel free to play and learn to be kind to themselves and others. Our day will be filled with fairy-themed crafts, where children can create their own fairy houses, kindness potions, essential oils, and flower art. They will delve into the realm of storytelling, exploring the power of kindness and self-care through imaginative tales. In our wellness portion, children learn the importance of mindfulness and regulation with age appropriate guided breathwork and meditation. Kindness is at the heart of our camp. Through inspiring activities, we encourage children to spread kindness like fairy dust, fostering empathy, gratitude, and acts of generosity. Through play and fun, we hope to see the children gain a deeper understanding of their own inner magic and embracing their potential to be kind to each other and themselves. Enchanted Hearts Camp is an extraordinary place where fairy tales come alive, magic is real, and the seeds of kindness and self-care are sown. Join us on this enchanting journey.
