UPDATE Public Safety – Aggressive Dog

The Town of Fort Macleod would like to advise our residents that a recently declared “aggressive dog” generally located on or about the 100 block of 22^nd street is currently in the possession of the Town and will not be released to the owner or back into the community, as per a recently received court order.  We sympathize with our residents who had encounters with this animal the lead to injury, whether to yourself or your pet. We thank all residents for their assistance in providing statements that allowed us to take legal action and pursue severe consequences for the owner as well as seize the animal.
