NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF FORT MACLEOD
IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA

PROPOSED BYLAW NO. 1940 

7:00 p.m., June 28, 2021
Town of Fort Macleod Council Chambers

PURSUANT to sections 230, 606 and 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended, the Council of the Town of Fort Macleod in the Province of Alberta hereby gives notice of its intention to consider Bylaw No. 1940, being a bylaw to amend Bylaw No. 1882, being the municipal Land Use Bylaw.

THE PURPOSE of Bylaw No. 1940 is redesignate to residential lands legally described as:

Plan 92B; Block 426; Lot 1 – 4
Plan 92B; Block 422; Lot 1 – 9
Plan 92B; Block 439; Lot 5 – 8
within the NW1/4 of Section 12, Township 9, Range 26, W4M
be redesignated from “Commercial General: CG” to “Residential: R”; and

Plan 92B; Block 423; Lot 10-12
Plan 92B; Block 426; Lot 5 -9
Plan 92B; Block 440; Lot 10 and the easterly portion of Lot 11
Plan 92B; Block 444; Lot 16

within the NW1/4 of Section 12, Township 9, Range 26, W4M
be redesignated from “Commercial General: CG” to “Residential Multi-unit: R:MU”.

THEREFORE, TAKE NOTICE THAT a public hearing to contemplate proposed Bylaw No. 1940 will be held in the Town of Fort Macleod Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. on the 28h day of June, 2021.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT anyone wishing to make a presentation regarding the proposed bylaw should contact the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 4:00 p.m. on the 25th day of June, 2021.  Both written and/or verbal presentations may be given at the public hearing.

A copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected at the Town of Fort Macleod municipal office during normal business hours.
