Renowned Canadian fiddle champ Scott Woods and his band will play traditional country fiddle music, swing, gospel and more at the Empress Theatre on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 7 p.m.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the Empress.
Known affectionately as ‘The Flippin’ Fiddler’, Woods is famous for both his trick fiddling – performing somersaults and walking on a barrel while fiddling – and his step dancing. He is a two-time winner of the Canadian Open Fiddle contest, two-time winner of the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Championship as well as Fiddle Entertainer of the Year.
