Nova Scotia-based Gunning and Cormier are solo roots singer-songwriters who have joined forces to co-create two folk/country/bluegrass albums and tour together.
Dave Gunning is a JUNO-award nominee and two-time Canadian Folk Music Awards winner and has also won eight East Coast Music Awards.
JP Cormier is one of the finest guitar, fiddle, mandolin and banjo players in the business today. After living and performing in the US for a decade, including many nights at the Grand Ole Opry with artists such as Waylon Jennings, Marty Stuart, Earl Scruggs, Bill Monroe, Charlie Louvin and Vince Gill, he returned to Canada. Since then, he as released more than a dozen award-winning albums, racking up multiple award nominations and wins.
Great friends, frequent collaborators and co-writers, the pair has been talking about working together since pretty much the day they met.
