Barney Bentall & The Cariboo Express raise funds for the Empress

– Iconic rocker Barney Bentall is bringing a collection of fantastic Canadian talent to the Empress Theatre on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
Co-hosted by Barney Bentall and Matt Masters, The Cariboo Express performs a revue featuring some of Canada’s finest roots and country musicians: Kirby Barber, Ridley Bent, Dustin Bentall, Wendy Bird, Stephanie Cadman, and Leeroy Stagger along with the Gold Rush All Stars: Rob Becker, Adrian Dolan, Geoff Hicks, Geoff Hilhorst and Scott Smith.
The fun, one-of-a-kind show blends humorous and sentimental monologues with a heartfelt set of roots and folk favourites.
The concert is a fundraising event for the Empress. Individuals or companies who sponsor one of 20 songs for $250 each are featured in a unique, customized monologue performed on-stage during the Nov. 2 performance. Bentall’s foundation matches each gift, resulting in a $500 donation to the Empress. A tax receipt will be issued by the Empress for all donations.
To-date, Bentall’s events have raised more than $1 million in cities throughout Western Canada in support of local charities.
