Residential Collection Day

Collection days will be Thursdays for Zone 1 (North) and Fridays for Zone 2 (South).
See the Waste Collection Calendar and map for more information.
Pick-up days are subject to change during some holidays.

Remember to set out by 7:00 am, and move back onto your property by 7:00 pm.

Cart Placement Reminders

The mechanical arms that pick up the carts need room to operate safely and effectively.
-Place your separated household waste in the carts. The lid must close completely.
-Roll your cart to the curb (or alleyway for specific residents only).
-Curbside: Place cartwheels against the front curb.
-Alleyway: Place cartwheels at least 1 foot (30 cms) from your fence or hedge.
-Park them on flat ground and make sure they are not blocking traffic.

Other Placement Notes

-Carts should be at least 3 feet (1m) apart.
-There should be at least 10 feet (3m) of space above your carts (trees).
-Please ensure carts are at least 3 feet (1m) from obstacles on either side (parked cars, power poles, utility boxes, garages etc.)

Cart Storage & Cleaning

You are responsible for taking care of your carts and keeping them clean

Damaged or Missing Carts

All carts have serial numbers and tracking. If your cart is missing or damaged, call the Town office at (403)553-4425.

Waste Enclosures

You can store your cart in an enclosure between collection days, but you must set it out for pick-up.
Carts will not be collected from enclosures.
