Land Sales
Land Development in the community is usually done by the Town as owners of most of the vacant, undeveloped land in the community. The Town maintains a minimum five year inventory of serviced residential, commercial and industrial lots. Go to our Land Sale Map to familiarize yourself with our current products.
Sales of Town owned property is normally processed by the Town Office but you may purchase Town property thru any of the Local Realtors.
The Town has a Real Estate Map and a Land Use Bylaw Map available for download. You will need the latest version of the free Adobe Acrobat Viewer to view and print these PDF files.

Building And Development
The Town administers all development in the community. All Development Permits and Building Permits are issued by the Town. Electrical, Gas and Plumbing permits are issued by Accredited Agencies under contract to Alberta Labor. The Town Office maintains a listing of local Accredited Agencies for interested parties.
Generally, Development Permits are required for all new structures, additions to existing structures or changes in use of a property. More information on Development Permits is contained in the Town's Land Use By-Law found in the By-Law library on this web site.
Building permits are required for all new construction or renovations involving structural elements of a building. Again, the Town's Building Permit By-Law is published on this web site.
